Research Interest:
My research interests lie at the boundary of geometry and broad engineering fields including Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, Mobile and Wireless Networks, and Machine Learning.

Short Bio:
I was Full Professor at the Center for Advanced Computer Studies (CACS) and the Lockheed Martin Corporation/BoRSF Professor in Science at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL). I received Ph.D. and M.S. degrees from the Department of Computer Science, Stony Brook University in 2008 and 2006, respectively, and B.S. degree from the School of Computer Science, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) in 2000. I currently serve on the editorial board of Knowledge and Information Systems (KAIS).
