Research Interest:
My research interests lie at the boundary of geometry and broad engineering fields including Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, Mobile and Wireless Networks, and Machine Learning.

Short Bio:
I am a Full Professor in the Center for Advanced Computer Studies (CACS) and the Lockheed Martin Corporation/BoRSF Professor in Science at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I received Ph.D. and M.S. degrees from Department of Computer Science , Stony Brook University in 2008 and 2006, respectively, and B.S. degree from School of Computer Science , Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) in 2000. I currently serve on the editorial board of Knowledge and Information Systems (KAIS).
